Pellston Regional Airport of Emmet County is served by Northwest Airlink. The Petoskey Bus Station is serviced by Indian Trails. Rental cars and taxis are available, but pre-arrangement is suggested. Private air strips serve Harbor Springs and Boyne USA Resorts.

You may also want to travel via the S.S. Badger from Manitowoc, Wisconsin arriving in Ludington, Michigan.  From there it's a leisurely 3 hour drive north following the Lake Michigan shoreline.
